Peter Lilley, MP for Hitchin and Harpenden, opened the Lilley village fete last Friday, 15th June. He also judged the children’s fancy dress competition.
Peter Lilley said, “I broke the golden rule for politicians – never judge a fancy dress competition. It was a difficult choice to make, because the entries were superb.”
“It was great to see the Lilley Fete revived after a 12 year gap and I congratulate the organisers.”
