Peter Lilley has taken up with the Chief Executive of the Post Office, the plight of Kimpton which has had no post for two days.
Peter Lilley said: “The Post Office has a duty to deliver letters to every address in the UK. But it has failed to do so in Kimpton for two successive days. This is damaging businesses in the village which depend on the post. I have taken up other failures in Hitchin with local management who blamed it on shortage of staff. So I have now gone direct to the Chief Executive to ask him to find a permanent solution to this problem.
