Rt Hon Lord Lilley

Peter Lilley will host a roundtable in the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 8th March to mark the entry into force of the World Trade Organisation’s Trade Facilitation Agreement last month and to launch “10 Commonwealth Policy Priorities for Trade and Development” published by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Trade Out of Poverty and the Overseas Development Institute.

Peter said: “I am pleased to be able to host Commonwealth Trade Ministers in Parliament ahead of the first ever meeting of Commonwealth Trade Ministers in London this week, and look forward to hearing their insight on how to enhance trade between Commonwealth countries.”

The paper listing 10 policy priorities aims to provide concrete recommendations on how to achieve inclusive trade and investment policies across the Commonwealth.
