Peter Lilley showed his support for the great work of Crossroads Care last week, joining carers from the North Hertfordshire area for coffee at their centre in Hitchin.
“I much enjoyed meeting carers and volunteers at The Crofts Café last week. I applaud the work that Crossroads Care does to improve the lives of those living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend in need,” said Peter Lilley. “These unsung heroes make an enormous contribution to our community and deserve to be fully recognised and appreciated.”
“Crossroads Care is fulfilling a vital role in our local area, providing the support, respite and companionship they need to continue to live their own lives, while continuing to look after their loved ones.”
Notes to Editors:
Crossroads Care is Britain’s leading provider of support for carers and people they care for. Crossroads works with over 35,000 individuals and their families, helping carers to make a life of their own alongside caring.
