    Mr Lilley: To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how many students enrolled in higher education institutions in (a) Scotland, (b) England, (c) Wales and (d) Northern Ireland were (i) UK students, (ii) domiciled in EU countries other than the UK and (iii) non-UK students in each year since 1997-98.     Mr Willetts: The latest available information on enrolments at UK higher education institutions by country of institution and country of domicile is shown in the following table for the academic years 1997/98 to 2010/11. Information on enrolments at UK higher education institutions for the 2011/12 academic year will become available from the Higher Education Statistics Agency in January 2013.
