Rt Hon Lord Lilley

Peter Lilley, a patron of Harpenden Spotlight on Africa (HSoA), will be attending a reception held by the charity on Thursday evening to celebrate all that HSoA has achieved, to hear about its work to date and its plans for the coming year. Through building infrastructure, education and healthcare, HSoA is making a difference to the lives of people in Uganda by supporting local initiatives to alleviate poverty.

Peter Lilley said: “This is a great Harpenden effort which is making a real difference to the quality of life of those in the slum area of Musoto through its school building project, new water boreholes, community health projects and other initiatives. I look forward to joining HSoA on Thursday night and to hearing Richard Okotel, a Project Manager in Uganda, speak about progress made in Musoto thanks to the support of HSoA.”
